General Conditions

  1. Opening of the camping and rates
    1. The camp is open from March 1st to October 31st. Access to the camp is allowed from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
    2. In lower season, the reception is open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and, in higher season, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
    3. The reception and the main sanitary buildings are open from March 1 to October 31; the Peupliers sanitary buildings at Easter until September 15 and the paddling pool from mid-June to the end of August. This one is open according to the weather.
    4. Access to the campsite and buildings is controlled. A badge is given at the reception desk. In case of loss, the badge will be charged CHF 50.

    6. The rates are available on the brochure given to the campers, as well as on the Internet.
  2. Camping places / Passing pitches
    1. Arrivals and departures can only be made during the opening hours of the reception desk.
    2. On the departure day, campers and renters must have left their plot or mobile home by 10.00 a.m. at the latest (check-out). If the plot is not rented in the afternoon, the departure can be delayed with the permission of the reception. For camping places, arrival (check-in) is at 14:00. For mobile homes and cocos, check-in is from 16:00.
    3. Any camper arriving at the camp must immediately announce him/herself at the reception desk. Anyone spending the night at a camper's home is also required to register. They will be subject to the nightly rate.
    4. A valid identity document (identity card, passport) is required on the day of arrival. If a person cannot produce an identity document, access to the camp will be denied, even if a reservation has been made.
    5. Any person under 18 years of age is not allowed to camp without being accompanied by his parents, legal representative or an adult.
    6. The occupation of any other parcel of property than the one allocated is strictly prohibited.
    7. The payment of the stay is made at the time of booking or on the day of arrival (without reservation) at the Reception desk.
    8. The camping pitches, Coco-Sweet and mobile homes can be reserved upon full payment of the price of the stay. The reservation is only confirmed upon receipt of the total amount. The advance is refunded only in case of cancellation 30 days before the date of arrival. The date of the reception of the cancellation in writing (mail or post) at the campsite is decisive. An administrative charge of 100 francs will be deducted in case of a refund.
    9. In case of reservation, if you have not arrived on the day of your planned arrival and have not notified the camping site in writing (e-mail), the reserved property will be made available to the other guests.
    10. In the case of early departure, the total amount for the duration of the stay is due.
    11. Offers and discounts cannot be granted retroactively. Offers and discounts are not cumulative.
    12. Reservations for groups cannot be made over the Internet.
  3. Season pitches
    1. Every new resident must provide all useful documents to prove his or her solvency and residence.(extract from the debt collection office, salary certificate, certificate of residence, etc.). Only the management of the camping is competent to allocate a place for the season.
    2. Payment for the plot must be made no later than December 31 of the previous year. In case of non-payment by this date, the plot will be put up for rent. The costs of moving the caravan and restoring the plot will be charged to the owners.
    3. The tourist tax is paid at the latest on the opening day of the camping site.
    4. Any additional person spending the night is required to register at the reception desk. It will be subject to the overnight rate. Children (up to 25 years of age) of residents are admitted at no extra charge.
    5. There will be no discount given to campers leaving their campsite before the end of their stay.
    6. Locations are personal and non-transferable. Rental or subletting is therefore prohibited.
    7. The camping caravan or mobile home is placed according to the layout plan of the campsite. The positioning can be modified with the agreement of the managers.
    8. The plots 272 to 300 and 257 to 259 are exclusively intended for the installation of new or second-hand mobile homes offered by the camping site management.
    9. The installations are placed at least 50 cm from the border of the plot.
    10. The third of the surface of the plot must remain grassed and free of any installation.
    11. Access to the electrical terminals must be left free.
    12. The extensions of the awnings may not exceed the length and height of the installation. No hard awnings or any material other than canvas or plastic sheeting will be allowed.The protective roofs on caravans are tolerated, but must not extend more than 10 cm beyond each side of the installation.
    13. Only 60 cm high barriers (fences) are tolerated. Stakes, reed ropes or branching are prohibited.
    14. It is forbidden to plant trees or shrubs in the ground, except flowers.
    15. Plots, caravans, mobile homes and other camping facilities must be maintained in a good state of repair by the residents. Otherwise, improvements will be required and, if this is not done, the work will be carried out directly by the campsite and billed to the resident.
    16. The plots where it is possible to pass with a tractor will be mowed by the manager. Completions (borders, space between caravans, etc.) are maintained by the residents.
    17. Caravans must be able to be moved at all times. In any case, the caravan or mobile home must be taken out of the plot for cleaning and reassignment.
    18. By buying a caravan or a mobile home, you are not entitled to obtain the plot of land under any circumstances. In case of a pitch a plot can be allocated by the campsite management.
    19. A contract for the season pitche is sent during September. It must be returned upon receipt, otherwise the plot will be rented out.
  4. Wintering
    1. Caravans, mobile homes and four-season awnings are moved or dismantled for winter storage at the request of the management or when work is carried out on the plot.
    2. The residents are informed 6 months in advance if they need to dismantle their facility, except for urgent work.
    3. With the exception of the four-season awnings, all others are systematically dismantled for winter storage.
    4. No object or material is left outside during the closure of the camping. The camping management declines all responsibility in case of theft or damage.
    5. Persons who wish to let their facility overwinter pay the tax until October 31 at the latest. Any damage due to bad weather is the responsibility of the owner.
    6. The winterization tax and the electricity consumption must be paid until October 31 and the installations tidied up.
    7. It is forbidden to stay in one's caravan or mobile home during the closure of the camping.
  5. Parking
    1. Only one vehicle per plot is allowed in the camping.
    2. The vehicles of passing campers are parked in the parking spaces provided for this purpose or on the plot, if no more spaces are available.
    3. The vehicles of the season's campers are parked only in the parking spaces provided for this purpose.
    4. The vehicles of the restaurant and store customers can park on the place provided for this purpose.
    5. Visitor vehicles are parked outside the camp or exceptionally inside if the barrier /gate is not lowered.
    6. It is forbidden to park on paths and camping plots (season and passage). Cars of seasonal campers placed on passing plots will be charged at the rental price of the plot.
  6. Garbage / Waste
    1. Household waste is put in taxed garbage bags (NEVA) and stored in the containers provided for this purpose.
    2. Glass, PET, paper, cardboard, aluminium, green waste and other recyclable waste are put into the containers provided for this purpose.
    3. It is forbidden to deposit any other garbage in the camp (floors, scrap metal, appliances, etc.). They are brought to the public garbage dump by the campers themselves.
    4. Passing campers receive a garbage bag at the reception desk. The following bags are purchased at the campsite store or other approved stores.
    5. Offenders will pay an additional fee of 100 francs. Repeat offenders will be denounced to the police.
  7. Other requirements
    1. From 23:00 to 08:00, campers are required to respect the rest and quietness of others.
    2. The circulation of vehicles is prohibited from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.. The maximum limit speed of a motor vehicle in the camp is 10 km/h. Vehicle washing is prohibited in the camp.
    3. Campers are required to maintain a perfect cleanliness in the sanitary buildings, on their plot as well as in the vicinity of tents and caravans.
    4. Dogs must be kept on a leash in the camp (walkers and campers). They are strictly forbidden in the sanitary buildings.
    5. A maximum of one animal is allowed per location. Owners must ensure that they do not bother other campers and that they do not dirty the installations. Animals are not allowed in the sanitary buildings. It is forbidden to leave animals unattended or locked up on the campsite.
    6. As post is not delivered, campers will address themselves to the reception desk.
    7. Opened fires are prohibited.
    8. Water is a precious commodity; campers are advised not to misuse it.
    9. On the camp site, any trade or display of merchandise of any kind is strictly prohibited.
    10. The camp management declines all responsibility in case of lost or stolen items.
    11. Campers must have insurance against damage and the gas installation must be inspected. A certificate or copy of the contract may be requested at any time by the managers.
    12. Damage caused by the forces of nature as well as fire are not covered by the camp administration, but by the campers' personal insurance policies.
    13. The committee of the Colombier Vivacité association and their collaborators have the right to carry out checks at any time on the registration to the camp, the state of the facilities, the location and the general order. In addition, campers will comply with any remarks that may be made to them by these persons.
    14. This settlement is given to each passing camper and the season. He/she complies with it.

 

The legal jurisdiction in case of dispute is that of the place of the campsite, namely Colombier.

Any person contravening these rules may be subject to expulsion from the camp. This By-law comes into force on March 1, 2017 ; it repeals on that date all previous by-laws.
